Preparation before start the upgrade

Upgrade preparation tools: The Device, the computer (Windows system, be able to use Bluetooth), Handphone with Android system, the upgrade file package.

Section 1. File Transfer

1. Switch on the power button.

2. Long press the power button until the Wi-Fi light flashes slowly. At this time, the device should be set to the network configuration mode.

3. Make sure your computer has Bluetooth function, then in the computer's network settings find the hotspot named Robot-###-xxx, and connect it.

4. Unzip the resource package and open the file ‘Update’, enter the flashing program.

5. Enter any key in the flashing program interface, then enter ‘0+Enter’, wait for the command ‘Y/N?’ to appear, enter ‘y+Enter’ and wait until the data transmission is completed.

6. Press the power button on the side of the device to restart the machine.

Section 2. Upgrade the device

1. In the hotspot settings of your mobile phone, enter the following hotspot configuration information.

*Hotspot Name: BV
Hotspot password: 12345678
AP frequency band: 2.4GHz*

2. Please turn off the robot's power switch, then press and hold the sweeping button and the power button altogether, then turn the power switch on. When you see the sweeping button of the sweeper flashing in red, release the button.

3. Wait 1-2 minutes, wait for the sweeper to automatically connect until you hear the voice prompt: Wi-Fi is connected, which means the update is complete.

Notice: This step is very critical. If you find that the hotspot name is starting with "Tyuuid" when it is discovered to connect to the phone, then this step is not completed, then you need to repeat this step. If you have successfully updated, the hot spot should be starting with 'Smartlife'.
